Nuff said.
LDInfo, gives details of Linton's mini company and is
the only section to contain any music. Simple scrolling
graphics fill you in on the details.
ThePD is the section that tops up the disk with a small
range of PD utilities. In the third issue it contained
!Setdir and !Sysdevice.
Finally, the TheMag contains all the articles written
by Linton himself. Each month, he usually gives brief
news, a few reviews of commercial software, some details
of useful PD utilities or demos and the occaisional hint
or tip.
Overall the mag isn't bad, if you "buy it" for the
articles then its probably worthwhile, but don't expect
anything amazing on the graphics or sound side. As its PD,
get it anyway, and see if its worthwhile as a regular
read. If the magazine is supported by readers, future
issues will probably be better (as with all disk mags).
Well thats it for this issue, I'll now check out some
more disk mags for next issue.
